MAC BYRD

HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING - RAMSEY PRESS, INC.

Mac Byrd is the head of sales and marketing for Ramsey Press, Inc. in Mahwah, New Jersey. Prior to Ramsey Press, Inc., Byrd has held senior sales and marketing management positions at Pictorial Offset Corporation, Agfa, Kodak, DuPont and Litton Industries. Byrd is an internationally recognized brand-marketing expert.

Byrd is one of the co-chairs for IDEAlliance's 2008 SPECTRUM 360 Conference in New Orleans and this year has helped re-vamp the conference in totality.

Byrd resides in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey with his family - his partner and his two sons - and two very spirited dogs - Sydney, a Chesapeake Bay retriever, and Janie, a two-year-old Airedale.

MARGOT PERMAN

PRINCIPAL AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR - REAL DESIGN ASSOCIATES

Principal and Creative Director, Margot Perman, founded Real Design Associates (RDA) in 1993. She has since worked with a broad range of clients in the United States, Europe and Asia.

At RDA, Margot has been responsible for the identity programs and retail packaging identities for the Guggenheim Museums in New York, Bilbao, Berlin, Las Vegas and Venice. With her partner, Juergen Riehle she reconceptualized and designed the architectural signage and wayfinding system for the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. In 2003, RDA was selected to develop the identity for the new Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul, Korea, a cultural center designed by Rem Koolhaas, Jean Nouvel, and Mario Botta.

Margot has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, and has been a guest lecturer at New York University and at numerous conferences, including the Louvre's "Musee Musee" series.

Nick J. Patrissi

NICK J. PATRISSI

INDUSTRY RELATIONS MANAGER - EASTMAN KODAK COMPANY

Nick Patrissi is Industry Relations Manager for the Corporate Solutions group of Eastman Kodak Company. Nick is responsible for generating demand and building brand presence for Kodak's Solutions within the Enterprise and Creative Market Segments. In this role, Nick provides education on technology, market trends, key issues and opportunities to advertising, publishing and corporate creative customers.

Nick's Graphic Arts career spans 28 years in sales and marketing roles for industry leading companies including 3M Company, Imation Enterprises, Creo and Eastman Kodak. Nick is an adjunct lecturer at New York City College of Technology and PACE University lecturing on important topics such as Color theory, Color Management, Environmental Sustainability and various other topics related to the Graphic Arts.

Nick is also an active industry supporter serving as speaker, trainer and industry advisor on several industry association committees and boards.

Pum Lefebure

PUM LEFEBURE

CO-FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR - DESIGN ARMY

Pum Lefebure is a co-founder and creative director at Design Army in Washington, DC. Not only does she oversee all creative coming through the firm's doors, she's responsible for setting the creative vision behind each high-profile campaign. Pum keeps the design team challenged by pushing and inspiring them to do creatively original work. As a result there are countless award-winning projects born inside Design Army's studio every day.

Pum has guided the design and development of many award-winning projects for an array of clients, including The Washington Ballet, Chronicle Books, The Ritz-Carlton Company, The Smithsonian Institution, Signature Theatre, and the University of Virginia. Her guidance hasn't gone unrecognized: Since opening in fall of 2003, Design Army's work has been featured in Communication Arts, Graphis, HOW, Print, STEP, Novum, Coupe and Art4D. Additionally, the work has garnered a multitude of industry awards from the AIGA 365, Black Book AR100, American Advertising Federation, Type Directors Club, The Art Directors Club of New York, The Mohawk Show, and The One Show.

Jurgen Riehle

JÜRGEN RIEHLE

CREATIVE DIRECTOR - REAL DESIGN ASSOCIATES

Creative Director Jürgen Riehle, has researched and conceptualized the brand identities of numerous cultural and human rights institutions, including the Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul, the United Nations' population agency, UNFPA, and the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company.

As Creative Director for Real Design Associates, Juergen brings a unique approach to strategic planning and content development for projects ranging from exhibitions to identities and books.

With his partner, Margot Perman, he is currently developing the brand identity for the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, the largest of the Guggenheim museums, to be completed in 2012. They are also co-curating and designing Congo/Women, an international travelling exhibition on human rights issues in Congo; featuring the work of VII Photographers Marcus Bleasdale and James Nachtwey.
